Members will recall that at a recent meeting We made our charitable donation to “Sight
for Surrey” and We were given an interesting insight into their valuable Work by
Callum Russell of their Charity.
Peter Dimmock has received on behalf of the Club a very nice letter of appreciation
from their Chief Executive.
An extract from this letter reads as follows:-
“Last year thanks to the kindness and generosity of our supporters, We provided hearing,
vision impaired or have combined sight and hearing loss. Through our charitable projects,
We aim to assist individuals to live fuller, more independent lives through projects
such as Community Outreach, Volunteering, a Mobile Sight and Hearing Service and
our community-based Eye Clinic Liaison Service. However none of this would be possible
Without your support and We hope that you will continue to support us as We grow
and develop the Work of Sight for Surrey.”
